According to the statistics of CISA, the daily output of crude steel was 2.0493Mt in major steel enterprises counted by CISA in mid-March, up by 4.61% compared with that in early-March. The total output of crude steel, pig iron and steel products were 20.4931Mt, 17.9632Mt and 20.1251Mt respectively.
By estimation, the daily output of crude steel in the whole country was 2.6586Mt in the period, up by 4.15% compared with that in the previous ten days. During mid-March, the total output of crude steel, pig iron and steel products were 26.5864Mt, 21.6571Mt and 33.679Mt respectively in the whole country.
The stocks of steel products in these steel enterprises amounted to 17.1249Mt in mid-March, up by 442,900t compared with that in early-March.
