Steel product stocks were decreased in late-July
According to the statistics of CISA, the daily output of crude steel was 2.1065Mt in major steel enterprises counted by CISA in late-July, down by 3.97% compared with that in mid-July, down by 3.03% y-o-y. The total output of crude steel, pig iron, and steel products were 23.1715Mt, 20.7103Mt and 23.2765Mt respectively.
By estimation, the daily output of crude steel in the whole country was 3.0342Mt in the period, down by 0.56% compared with that in the previous ten days. During late-July, the total output of crude steel, pig iron, and steel products were 33.3765Mt, 26.3306Mt and 42.881Mt respectively in the whole country. The stocks of steel products in these steel enterprises amounted to 13.8136Mt in late-July down by 1.1041Mt compared with that in mid-July.
