Minnesota’s legislative mandate requires investor-owned utilities to serve 1.5% of their Minnesota retail electric sales with solar power by 2020. OTP has purchased sufficient SRECs to meet 100% of its 2020 obligation and approximately 70% of its 2021 obligation.
